When we think too much, our imagination will lift us higher than we couldn't imagine. When we come back to reality, it's like falling into the ground...finding yourself broken into pieces.

I felt the power of realization of a sour relationship in this sad but realistic happenstance( intolerable ) of our lives. The form and wording are excellent...:)

sometimes it's difficult for us to draw the line between reality and illusion especially when there's a constant battle of the heart and the mind. As always, beautifully executed frieda =)
disconnected.. the perfect word for how we are in dreams where we can let go of reality for a short time , and then having to disconnect from the fantasy of the dream...

Hi Frieda. A lovely write and presentation about the duality of dreaming in each of the stanzas. Unique and beautiful interpretation in the wonder of your dreams in skillfully crafted free verse/rhyming blend which I enjoy. Good imagery, flow and tone. Lovely depth of feeling; I sense a fragmentation that is sown together in contrast with the desires felt in the opening lines of your poem, subconscious thoughts of love fractured, bleeding through into your dreams. Thought provoking. Good word choice. Nice alliteration, assonance and consonance. Well penned and a much enjoyed read. Write on!
