Was I flying or

 was it, dying

in my dreams

          upon your soul

I was suspended in

 your lusty web

my heart and head

                                     disconnected

As I fell back to earth

 to find

there was

 no reason

           or rhyme

just shattered notions 

of love's emotions

I love the wordplay here...rhyme is not one of the first characteristics I would associate with you, but you're hinting at a knack for it here...if you were a songwriter I'd think you'd make a great lyricist...the mournful tone of this piece speaks to me...well done my friend :)

Yes, it does get scrambled into a mess sometimes, doesn't it? I am pensive this morning, not really down, but sort of hovering between the good spot and the bad spot. You write such beautifully images poems.

well am sad because i was left in suspense because i wanted the poem to continue i was lost i your dream.
however, am not complaining as this is a classic write and it is well presented as you always do.
nice write. the title is great, the flow and the structure shows the poem's aim.
