Wish I knew where it goes. My biggest fear is that it never really once. Perhaps if there where markers at a grave site we could look back and say yes indeed it did happen. But love is fleeting and as elusive as our lives themselves. Perhaps all we get in the end is our own knowingness. Okay Amen!

Ha love your review, sorry for the late reply...thanks so much DCT!
love seems to be laid to rest in your notebook- yet at the same time revived so vividly. this is such an introspective concept. the ashes of a love forgotten milling about the earth. maybe one day they will inhabit someone elses heart. great work!

That's a thought, hopefully with a better ending, thanks so much Dana.
Where is love laid to rest -- where indeed, my friend? I've often wondered at this idea myself.
Great concept...bittersweet in the sense that you bring forth emotions that get the heart racing, and yet you also show the pain in equal measure. I've had relationships that I feel deserved a burial of some sort...perhaps a cremation and sprinkling of the ashes across the sea. A beautiful idea in a tragic situation.

It is probably an unmarked grave and one I wouldn't care to visit it 'coz if it were worth it it wouldn't be lying abandoned there!
This is a masterpiece Frieda. The question, the way it is posed and the imagery all worked together to create a wonderful picture. Keep writing. You are the best.
