'Speak to Me of Truth'A Poem by Frieda P...and the Raven spoke to the butterfly "speak to me of truth" the reply came humbly, 'who's truth do you want?' The Raven looked a bit perplexed... 'there is only one truth that does not lie' he muttered. Butterfly responded, 'perhaps it is as beauty, my clever friend; 'tis in the eye of the beholder' Once again the flutterby spread her magnificent wings, "there was a time I was held captive in a suffocating cocoon with no light, now watch me as I brilliantly take flight into the night' As she fluttered off she left him with this thought to ponder, 'through your keen Raven eyes, which is the truth of truths you wish to find in me?' “Things aren't always what they seem, are they?”© 2013 Frieda PFeatured Review
