~In This Moment...

~In This Moment...

A Poem by Frieda P
"

Inspired by another lovely piece of *Star's artwork.

"
I breathe, my world expands in this moment
most days I find myself in utter puzzlement
of broken pieces that hardly fit the scene
the beauty that surrounds me is vastly
                   different from my view,
poppies can twist to opium seeds in turn
A sheer moment in time I realize there's beauty,
that is every single thing we do and see
I hear the dance in so many different styles
even pain is a study in it's own mysterious way
I breathe in this precious moment of clarity,
hopeful to revisit it some dark & dismal day

Grazie eglantine, glad you enjoyed my musings....
my pieces aren't quite fitting together lately, thinking maybe of changing them surgically to make a different picture

your words resonated deeply this morning

Thanks Emily, I've done the surgical thing, they seem to magically develop patterns on their own...
...poppies can twist to opium seeds in turn... Yes, as the Wicked Witch of the West proclaimed...

Frieda, this art taps into your joy, and I love what you do with it!

...I breathe in this precious moment of clarity...

That is the best way to live! Well done, darlin'!

"A sheer moment in time I realize there's beauty,

Whatever pain we've gone through
Whatever happened to me and you
Always believe that after the rain
There's a new morn to welcome us again.
Learn to stop, look and listen
There is beauty in everything.

This is a wonderful piece, Frieda.

You're welcome. :)
The morning brought me the most wonderful sunrise, filled with color and wonder to the point I felt it might have actually been brought to life only for me, then I looked out the window once more and found it was dark, the beautiful sunrise I was witnessing was your poem.

"even pain is a study in it's own mysterious way"

I loved every line, but this one really stood out ot me as profound. Very nice my sweet friend.

A lovely piece...and as I grow older I try not to take anything for granted...especially the beauty
around me as its only temporary...Enjoyed Frieda:)100

Funny how the captcha sort of hands you a review as well. LOL
