I am truly at a loss for words. This is so exquisite and you will never cease to amaze me, even if I live forever, is all I can come up with at the moment
To fully appreciate an ecstatic experience, we must die to the moment before... wonderful poetry here, Frieda! The title immediately called to mind Melissa Etheridge's "Angels Would Fall":
"I want it more than truth, I can taste it on my breath, I would give my life just for a little death..."
I like the cotton candy reference and the 'halfway' comments with only one boundary each... poses questions about where, direction, flow. 'halfway to the moon', 'halfway between nirvana'. From the heart and soul. :)
Frieda this is incredible. I have always love the french for very phrases such as this......Le Petit Mort...what a spectacular title. Then your words to describe this ecstasy.....I'm undone.
dreamers floating on starlit cotton candy half way to the moon
signs of celestial bodies memories flaming in unison
passion's brazen bounties
shadow dance of aching
I believe have just died a little death in your words ;) Thank you.
The words arouse such a passionate place of bliss and wanting... that rhythm too often lost to the overwhelming needs forced on us by the world... Oh, would that we could all escape here at least once a week and be refreshed! Sigh...

Oh my heavens, this one took me totally by surprise...I wasn't expecting something like this on the heels of the last one, but it's gorgeous...it's almost an ecstatic counterpart of sorts...maybe it's the music that has me thinking that ;P And there's something about cotton candy...it seems to bring a lift to even the saddest piece...wonderful work love :)

Love it if I can surprise attack you, laughing at the cotton candy too. ;-)
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
