~~Le Petit Mort

~~Le Petit Mort

A Poem by Frieda P
"

translation~the little death

"
dreamers floating on starlit cotton candy half way to the moon
signs of celestial bodies memories flaming in unison
lost in a trance of artistic delight of tenuous heights
wanderers meet on a plain halfway between nirvana
thunderous roar of passion's brazen bounties
no words to explain the shadow dance of aching
falling to earth in pools of sinful ecstatic pleasure
a small death of harmonious concourse to heaven's gates

Thanks love, glad you enjoyed it x
Yes, luv C'est le Petit Mort, meet my friend Greek friend Dionysos, for he can help with rich visualisations, psychedellic art, and much more. He's a good conversation bud. :D This is a trance, of pure realisation. I feel in love with it, for I felt at home... Grazie Amore!Baci x

That's the best part, getting there, lasts longer too, thanks Bre.
there is pleasure, there is fulfillment...but only a halfway feeling...and as good as that is, imagine if we could get all the way there?

wow, what an experience that would be...

drowning in cotton candy... and feeling the small deaths---ecstasy...

another poem with the frieda stamp on it.

Finely spun. The little death when it comes. That is what it is like. Blessed the ones who feel it.

Surely blessed Ken, thanks.
A metaphor of such evocative and rich tapestry -- it leaves me breathless. As it should. The images tumble towards the reader at a dizzying speed until .... ahhh. wow wow -- may we all be so fortunate to experience many small deaths.

"lost in a trance of artistic delight of tenuous heights" - this is how I felt reading 'Le Petit Mort' Frieda.
Any higher and I would not have been able to come down.

I love the moon but I don't like cotton candy, I'm down with the pools of sinful ecstatic pleasures. Tell me where that is and I'm there

Use your imagination love. ;-)
Ah, the little death. The rapturous explosion of emptyiness when all is momentarily lost and at the same time discovered. Well penned. Vivid and exact word choices, great imagery, well done!
