Repellent

Repellent

A Poem by Frieda P

Instant repel....

    Crows nipping butterfly wings
treacherous, leacherous bandit
defiled ravine of poppies
wake up and smell the roses
darkest hours come pre-dawning

This is one of those that could mean so much to so many. Evil consuming beauty. Nature red in tooth and claw. Opposites attract but maybe not for the right reasons. Your ways of fitting such complexity into minimalist but beautiful poetry astounds me.

This is one of these writes from you that has so many meanings. It can be interpreted in so many ways by different people. This is pure beauty, Frifri. I loved it as always. The way your write this with such honesty and passion. Opposites may attract but sometimes it's for all the wrong reasons. It's like you hear girls that go with 'bad boys' or 'players' 'cause they say all the right things. I'm rambling, sorry.

Awesome blossom.

Hahaha, don't say that or I will xD
"
Crows nipping butterfly wings

treacherous,"
I take it as crows are the metaphor for evil or treacherous characters who are harming the butterfly ( a metaphor for innocence and beauty ) with all their evil ways and wicked schemes...I sense sadness in this write too...:)

Yep. Tough women here indeed...I dare not...lol
Complex but beautiful, open to interpretation, which is the true beauty of poetry. Well penned, my friend.
