Entrance'd Reverie

Entrance'd Reverie

A Poem by Frieda P

You light my path
                 with orchid sunlight

in your voice
I hear the melody of angels

as wildflowers dance to the harmony
    of countryside's waterfall
        crystalline air
butterfly musings fancy
           the bewitching sprays

you are the starry trance
                  of a sun kissed sky,
whilst moonlit passages make me sigh

 cream in my coffee,
                the 'good' in morning

you put the glint of
                   smiles in my eyes

~exquisite reverie that
             takes my breath away~

This is like a breath of fresh air. It is filled with emotion and it dances across the page. This is an uplifting piece of writing that resounds with happiness.

Gentle, peaceful, and tranquil. With images to match the mood. Nicely done.

Gentle pensive thoughts, artfully penned. You put your heart and self into this peice, and it shows. Orchid sunlight reference has me smiling, and thinking about someone I have walked a jungle path with, under light filtered through real orchids. When the thin atmosphere alone takes your breath, what chance does a lady have? I hope the recipient of this has read it, has acknowleged it, and has made soem sort of overture in your direction.

Artwork and poetry was amazing. I wanted to jump into the poem and feel the peace and calm of the words. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, I loved the balance between the dreamy romantic in lines such as 'I hear the melody of angels' and the more realistic romantic in words such as 'cream in my coffee, the good in morning'
For even someone like myself who doesn't normally enjoy romantic poems, I actually loved this one.
