This was nice my friend. I often find the solace I seek in the evening sky. I watch the moon and the stars on their travels each night and wonder to myself, who else might be doing the same. It is in these skies that I find hope through the reassurance that night after night they appear regardless of where my life is heading. Your poety as always so very beautiful. Loved this
WOW! Frieda - this is great. How many generations have did the same - looked to the heavens at night and felt that longing, that hope and that connection with the ancestors past and future?
I often find myself looking up to the night~time sky when I am frantic over something. Angi~

Awwwww!!! The moon! You know I love the Moon, it's my bestest friend in the whole wide world. I always sit at the window when the moon is close and sing Billy Moon, haha. It's a childhood thing. :P This was amazing, Pickles. Great job.
Lovely haiku, Frieda.. I like that one can find hope in the moon and stars.. much like wishing on a falling star. I dabble with astrology and often find that the positions of the moon and the stars have significant influence on my life.. wonderful job with this one.
Do we really need to fear reaching so high? Yes, the moon is closer, but it only reflects the hope generated elsewhere... I think reflection is a fine reminder hope lives.
I will have to give some thought to where I would look to find the source...
Provoking.
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
