Music prompt~ Save Me-Dave Matthews

Don't drink the kool-aid

   there's blood in the water

the division doesn't add up

    it's not a religion

 no need to en-mass

    choking down false witnesses

genuflecting to gods inquisitions

follow in the footpath of another

and you'll stumble as

    we all fall down, save yourself

before we're all far too gone, 

   direct me to the wine deep in the ground

vines of self verity and wisdom

      step into the light, save me, save yourself

 If you don't due the offering plate

   your legs will work just the same without strings

 

         save me from the faith of blind men talking

        to dance amongt the ashes anointed with poetry

Yes save yourself before its too late. Whether in politics, social situations or work places drinking the kool aid with the masses is suicide. We don't need anyone telling us how to think or feel...what is truth and what is not!! Use your own brain, your ears and your eyes to determine for yourself. ;-)xo
