Heart Flutters

Heart Flutters

A Poem by Frieda P

I've read many sad tunes
           written quite a few,
when my heart flutters
    through your life chapters
       to reminisce your memories,
butterflies arouse to float on zephyrs
easing the formlessness of my soul

On a lighter note, the pic moved me to think of the lovely memories, even in death, they live on in our hearts.

Hmm statistically it is shown that people tend to cling to their better memories no matter how horrendous that particular time period was I guess we were meant to be resilient when it's all said and done we all like to go back the old times whether good or bad to get a bit of Heart Flutters Great writing Frieda

Be bold my love, you like short & sweet, thank you....
A lullaby to soothe the tense, nonexistent spirit? I don't believe I've read anything quite similar to that, and it was indeed enticing. It reminds me that poetry in itself is nonexistent, and 'tis only our minds that assign the emotions necessary for our spirits to indulge in it.

So jazzed by your sentiments here Ken.
This one is beautiful. The good memories will keep the pieces together as best we can and help us remember what it felt like to feel their love. Always.
