You have branched into the darkness lately, my friend. I rather like this side of your writing, because it seems to ooze with such deep and honest emotion. I like the ideas and concepts of karma explored here, and the different possibilities and conclusions that this idea can convey.

Surprised no one mentioned the apparent reference to that stunning motion picture, "Deliverance." The "bend over" line bringing to mind the controversial move in that controversial movie.
Of course, your poem deals with a great deal more than a mere cinematic event.
Insightful, exceptional work, Frieda

The title reminds me of the movie of the same name which was about savage revenge. Maybe this is a poem in disguise a metaphor in itself for slights we have all been subject to? As always penned in dripping golden words and phrases.

Redemption's ransom is sure more than checkbooks can afford. What a powerful line and how true. What goes around does truly come around. A vivid, fierce piece of vengeance in the name of Karma. Beautiful job.

That line alone is quite powerful... some do not understand that they may get away with something in the beginning but it will always catch up with them. I love the hard hitting nature of this poem.
One can practically feel the anger in 3D with this piece, an anger that is justified...again, there's little left to say here in light of what we've talked about, but it's a chore not to be cynical amongst humanity when there are so many bad examples of it around...and most of those bad examples don't even realize they're bad examples, which provides me with a kind of wry comic relief...you know how to deliver distinct emotions Mrs.R, and this is just the latest example of that...a good example of something in this case ;)
This is a good powerful write, good structure, loved the way you set it out, it was simple yet powerful. Good job, another write well done. It is short but says a lot, something that is relatable to people. Nice.
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
