"I can hardly walk a straight line
there is no cure or rehab for this kind of intoxication,
no release from enticement of paper, pen, quill nor
words distinctive invitation"
This is so true & it's something that I believe only writers can truly understand. I always carry a small notepad w/ me because sometimes a coworker says something silly that I know I can fit into a piece I'm writing, though I do take a little creative license:) This was wonderful, Frieda. Thank you for sharing.

I love reading your poetry Frieda. :) It's got it's own flavor and style that I can't read anywhere else. Thank you for posting, and I can't wait to read more! :D
The words you use to describe just put a smile to my face! You really have a flare for writing. You just play around with words, coming up with new ways to intrigue the reader. It's an art. And you're an artiste!
Why do i feel like singin that Earth song now..."quill me.....close your eyes and quill mee...i can feel your touch....i misss so m more than this.....quill me)uch...and everything
There are so many fabulous lines in this that it is difficult to single out one, or even two as my favorites! I just feel drunk from the absolute pleasure of it, and want another big glass of what you are serving!! It's a mighty tall measure of divine enticement - an herbal tea of "come and let me drink you up"!!

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
