~Perhaps

~Perhaps

A Poem by Frieda P

Never what it seems
   a trifle splash,

hardly makes a sound

on rainy days it disappears
baubles of braille upon a vast ocean

    the shape of infinitesimal teardrops

if you listen intently,  perchance

a swishing rustle can be heard,

                perhaps, i heard you sigh

Perhaps this is beautiful. This little poem just seemed to float on air, as I do each and every time I read your pieces. This one tickled and giggled and sighed ever so lovingly. Still I sit here amazed and wondering, how do you do this? Each and every day you find the magic to make me smile. Frieda, you do amaze me.

Awh Jack, you're too kind to me, this review deserves a squishy hug. :-)

i agree with the "bubbles of braille" that is so good...

and yes, they do fall silently, those tears, but we feel every one of them, so palpable they are.

beautiful piece.

A simple thought, a simple exquisite poem with so much breadth, Frieda. Into my favourites. P.

Thank you for your excellent review John.
Intertwined souls entice me so; that feeling of wronging dwelling within the stomach, the instinct that something has gone wrong, and that brief sigh of disappointment is heard by the significant other despite the lack of physical connection. How intricate you posed each word of this, the stillness of the ocean interrupted by a single drop. Lovely beyond measure, well done.

Love your thoughts here Thomas, thanks.
I love the bubbles of braille, it's the perfect image for this piece...there are always things you never see...there's nothing on the planet that anyone can claim to know absolutely everything about, at least I don't think there is...I haven't been able to write these kinds of short, concise pieces in a while, but I wish I could ;P Great work my dear :) xo
