~Castles Crumble

~Castles Crumble

A Poem by Frieda P

Castle walls in the skies kept me safe
until you crept up behind me out of sight
you broke into the vault of chained melodies
music of the heart written in braille
you pierced the outer membrane
it oozed a sudden aubergine recognition
bejeweled crystallization of this vessel's tune
i felt an ancient nagging dance within my soul
old heated tempos tangled in my toes
let me waltz the passage before a tango
crumbling walls desire avowal to prance
   upon flooded fortified fortress chambers

Brilliant!... castles are magical for me, and the crumbling of the wall is rather a pleasant one, of exquisite musical enchantment...to have been taken by surprise crumbling the walls...so LOVELY!

There will always be negative things that happen in our life but it don't mean they have to bring us down to their level. I found such a wonderful positive message in this piece.

Yeah no kidding... where you at? Why is your account closed?
"You broke into the vault of chained melodies..." I could write a review in praise of this line alone - and every line before and after it in this amazing poem. Perhaps castle walls are not all they are cracked up to be, and sturdy little brick houses, though not as beautiful, keep one much safer.

What a great line among many. I wish I were inspired to write a fifth of what you manage to create! My creative jig is up, I'm afraid. I'll have to settle for reading your finely crafted words :)
Another tantalizing poem, my friend.
