craziness ensues...

Sweet insanity wraps around my pinkie finger

I've twisted it tightly in mine own head

a welcome relief from life's gauntlet

i sink into my delusional illusions with ease

if you should think me mad, you'd be deluded

this controlled confusion is just a ploy

for absolution from the intrusions of my pen

the allusion can be quite hypnotic when i'm sane

absolution from the intrusions of my pen. Ooh, I like that line. I don't suffer from it, but I like that line. For me - writing is all about the fifty bajillion small stupids in my head. And that is all. I also like "controlled confusion" I can relate to that. Great little burst of a poem.

and when i set my pen to paper
i venture on another caper
scrawl and scribble, prod and poke
and writers block goes up in smoke!
frieda is much too prolific to get blocked....her mind works like a dynamo...never stops. that's why she suffers insomnia some nights, brain too active to slow down...smart lady, full of beans and life! nice write.....
