Communion of PoetryA Poem by Frieda PThis ceremonial ritual speaks only truth, exalting wings of reality basking religiously in your whorish afterglow, I ingest your sins and feast on them like a gluttonous harlot Nourishment from your host feeds my passion, I drink you like wine in gulps of insanity it courses through my veins, a fluid, rhythmical tonic I exhale, the smoke clears to see another moon rise you came within me forcefully as my soul arched to the sun chants of reckless echoes filled the skies This communion branded me with fever calculated sketching of quotes from the universe a stippled tear and an engraved smile my sword I plunge into you with the abandon of a lusty courtesan you etch onto me as you dip your quill to pen this sacrament, bleeding an exuberant cornucopia of enlightened words ...spoken by endless sacred poets © 2013 Frieda PFeatured Review
