Flutterby Kisses

Flutterby Kisses

A Poem by Frieda P
"

For Lee

"
I will sing a lovely lullaby
if you come home to me
moments/
 seem like hours
golden slumbers indefinite,
eternity~
      abandons a lifetime
moon dimly lit as the raven fly

Send me a sign
             how to message you
       reminisces *hush my sweet baby
    don't you cry*
        only works to ignite
             tears in my heart,
once there was a way
 to get back the interlude
somehow i missed the sad song
          in your heart

There's a silence now
              that echoes the mystery,
are you adrift on a sea
    of lofty truthful clouds
 i sent crimson kisses afloat
     on butterfly wings
holding my breath til you flutter by again

Thanks Marie, when it's about Lee there'll always be butterflies....
There is a lot of pain in this piece. There is also a lot of love. The silent echoes left behind are truly deafening. If only we could lull the demons to sleep.

Wouldn't that be nice, thanks blue.
Sadness fills my heart when I read these words. To long for some sign to fill that silence must be a terribly painful thing. Sending you much luv my dear friend...xo
