I don't rhyme about time or any other f*****g line

who's to say what's write & wrong or if it sounds like a song

what's it worth in dollars and sense to be blown away

do you look at my bank account or just read my poetry

is this a popularity contest or based on how we are stirred

poetry is about creating & recreating the essence of life,

releasing the kraken, unleashing the gusto of lifeblood

move me and i'll respond, I don't care if you're the in crowd

a mere teen with pimples or a depressed adult monstrosity

it's the sheer joy of words and sharing our bloody emotions

I don't mind if you make a mess and there's brain matter oozing

heartfelt guts dripping from your quill, we have a clean up crew

it's me & you, and everyone here with their pens in a twist

purge it all over the fooking place even if you've felt judged

there's some satisfaction in falling down and letting it all hang out

 & none whatsoever in holding back and making retractions

DAMN!!! Preach it sister.... words of utter truth. To hell with judgement....this isn't a social club. Like I've told you we all have a story... and we all express it in our own way. I want the words to move me....make me cry..sigh...scream...dance. I don't care about form, style, rhyme or length as long as I react in some way. Art is freedom not being constrained by some one else's rules. Release the kraken...let love flow...moan with passion. Just WRITE it how you FEEL it!!! This is f*****g fantastic.... ;-)

no matter who it is, no matter what kind of poetry they write, no matter the level of the words...the words are all important, because it is a purging that is needed...it is art in its purest form, no matter how it is written.

this is a smile..but also has some serious satire...

we are all poets and this is NOT a competition...it isn't about being better than anyone else at writing poetry..it is about the poetry itself...and its worth.

Wow. This was being screamed off of a cliff in my head, not sure why...I love it to say the least. I loved the wit right here, almost didn't catch it! "who's to say what's write & wrong.." and this line here, "it's the sheer joy of words and sharing our bloody emotions" that line so powerful. I get the feeling this is directed towards someone. Haha.

On another note, the form is so odd but it works for this piece for some reason. Gives it a stronger voice a rambly feeling, that kind of gets you lost in reading.

Just great job overall, really. You've done a great job expressing everyone, on this websites, opinion and job and love for writing! Amazing.
