Dream a Little Bliss

Dream a Little Bliss

A Poem by Frieda P
"

~desires to be stuck in a dream

"
to be stuck in a dream of eternity would suit me just fine
if that's the likes of nirvana, floating along on a spell
let me be nourished by sparkling cerulean waterfalls
spraying peaceful dove coos and enlightened butterflies
reminisces of wafting in the serenity of mother's womb
safe and protected in the sensations of contentment
to fly overhead with the constellations as my friends
swinging freely over magnific amethyst seas nary a woe
looking out over the horizon of promises & sunrises
save me from my mere human existence & yearnings
let me sing with angels on ephemeral argent cloud linings
zephyrs take me away to a land of boundless kisses of bliss
keep me locked in this embrace of slumber's trance of awe

and you said you never have beautiful dreams or remember them! i think a lot of your beautiful writes are born in your forgotten dreams and your subconscious reveals them to you in moments of "inspiration". this is gorgeous, frieda posies. i love these writes of yours.

Oh, the purgatorial state of dreams. Nothing is more relieving than being trapped in lucid wonderlands. Well, I, for one, loved to unknowingly poke at my subconscious by worrying about things, and next thing I know I'm wrestling demons. Fun, nonetheless.

Dreams are a magical place to be. They take the pain of life away. It's hard not to think of what life would be if we were just stuck in a dream, so far away from everything, as you have so beautifully represented in this poem. ~Never Forget

Thanks so much for your visit, and a great review, much appreciated.
I knew that song had something to do with this as soon as I saw the title of the poem ;P This piece is like a pillow...close your eyes and let the lines come to life...the waterfalls, the butterflies, constellations, it all comes together here to produce a poetic idyll...lovely ;)
