In Junkie Crazed Yearning Tones

In Junkie Crazed Yearning Tones

A Poem by Frieda P
"

A 'shoot out' with a very deserved poet...

"
Shoot me up~

share your sword with me
cut me with your blade
I get high on your essence
every time you bleed

In junkie crazed yearning tones
I cry out for thee,
slay me once again
the depths of you I crave
penetrate my soul

Turn my head
  until i beg for more
bend my spine,
 I implore you, please

Ravage me til you vanquish
'the very last breath I take'

If we can discover the meaning in the trilling of a frog, perhaps we may understand why it is for us not merely noise but a song of poetry and emotion. ~Adrian Forsyth

Thanks for the poetry slam John, 'twas a pleasure.

I remember saying about jelly on your other poem but this one's making me think of vanilla ice cream with cherry on top:) Ha! Sounds ravishing, isn't it? I don't know but I got all this crazy food thought in my head today. And yeah it may sound crazy but your poem sounds delicious like licking up a melting ice cream that is dripping down the side of the cone, up to that proud cherry on top:) Haha! Your poem is surely adding intensity to this blistering Pacific heat.

Loved the shoot-out...both sides were awesome and in the process deliciously exciting poetry was whipped up for all of us to relish and enjoy.

Even otherwise, I would have loved to share this poetry with someone but that someone is no more there... (My- -ex, as this makes for a very sexy sensual read even otherwise)

Thanks Frieda. Keep having such shoot-outs. We love the poetic spirit, camaraderie and fun in which they are intended.

Yes, it hurts so good. The siren's call is too hard to resist and the price is too hard to pay. Nicely done Frieda.

Ha yes, hurts so good..silly women that we are. Thanks so much icelandicblue.
The title reminds me of The Naked Lunch, so a tough title a la Burroughs and a very visual poem, lots of feelings working here, good one
