~Reverberations~

~Reverberations~

A Poem by Frieda P

You are that whisper floating on air
the echoes of zephyrs sweet warmth
i feel you in every season, see you in every face
i laid down my poetry in sumptuous grassy knolls
for you to taste the splendor of love metaphors
personification of bloody purging hearts
coiled around voices tinged with manifestations
impregnated by infiltration of reverberated procreation

Wow, this is incredible. I am always so bent on writing poetry that is loooong and drawn out in order to get my point (if I have one) across, and then I come across something like this, that is so beautiful and right on in such short and sweet fashion. Your imagery is exquisite...reminds me a little of Dicikinson. Word choice; you blew me away here.

I too have felt this way; laying down my love in metaphors and clauses, words and phrases for someone, hoping beyond myself that they would see the truth in my heartbreak. Nicely done, my friend!

Thanks Divya....
There is creative beauty in this poem. I love the last line of this poem. This is true talent and beauty: "Impregnated by infiltrations of reverberated procreation" Such a metaphorical masterpiece. I am happy I got a chance to read it. Loved It!
