I Fall in Sleep

Inspired by one of my favorite songs by Sia~I Go To Sleep...enjoy the music.

I lay in peace 

    you upon my head

no other thoughts

      amidst my mind

your strong shoulders

           hold me here

the scent of your manhood

           envelopes me

the heaviness of your loins

          keeps me safe

soaked in the invisible cloak

          of your heat

etched behind closed eyes 

     your silhouette

lulled by the sweet crackle

           of our fire

lingering in the grace 

      of sumptuous afterglow

         I fall under

                      the hypnotic

                                   sublimity

                                          of our splendor

Your words are so lovely and flowing! I awakened not too long ago, but want to go crawl back in and cuddle amongst the covers and dreams all my cares away after reading your poem and listening to the song. This is almost hypnotic and conveys a beautiful message!! Thank you for your beautiful lullaby of love!!

This is filled with such wonder and elegance; a grace unfolding in beauty beyond belief.. that sleep of love.. the rapture in deepest peace when all is well. May we all at least once sleep so profoundly. (And just how did you know how heavy my loins were? ;)

Hypnotic indeed Mrs. R ;P As is the case with many of your poems in the sensual arena, I am totally entranced, especially by the opening line...this one has a gentle, even post-coital element, dare I say it, which compliments the saucier ones quite nicely ;)
