i always feel your emptiness wherever you write about this subject. i know the " am so sorry for you" wouldnt do a thing but probably trigger memories.... but i admire your courage and you are the most brave person i know, and i know you would go all the way to have protected her, but you did what you could so stop blaming your self atleast you tried. and those responsible, will still die because i know no one livces to inherit this world.

Thanks for your support and kind words luviva, always appreciated.
Things do happen..and they happen for a reason, a reason that either we will never know or we will never understand.
This poem might be sad, but I hope the writer is not :)

Some reasons suck and are unaccepatable as you well know, thanks SM.
Awww Frieda! You get a hug from me for this one. Since I've had the pleasure of reading of reading your amazing poetry in the past I think in have a pretty good idea what story this one portrays. The death of a loved one, particularly a suicide, will always take a piece of your heart with them when they've gone....you are always wondering, is there something I could've done or said? What ifs will plague your mind but there is no healing in that. Be strong my sarcastic, sharp-witted friend :)

You did a smile from this sarcastic friend, thanks so much C!
This one cuts deep Frieda. Those scars don't really heal and the scenario plays over and over while we wonder what could have been different. It is beautiful and so very sad.

If only it were, unhappily it's from real life, thanks for your heartfelt words Horizon.
A shattering leap, a devastating plunge and a greatest loss. A part of my heart lies buried with yours! This poetry is evidence. Thanks for sharing the deepest saddest part of you~

Your words always move me but this sent shudders through me. Suicide may release one persons suffering but it sentences their loved ones to a lifetime of anguish and guilt. Just this week a freshman at my sons highschool killed himself. He was out going and well liked but apparently he was verbally and emotionally abused at home. Just breaks my heart... Thank you for sharing what i know is a deeply personal expression of feeling.

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
