Unleash Your Fancy

     Could you fly with me to far away lands

take a trip & hold my hand 

an island's getaway escape 

      where sands are malachite

         & burnt cinnabar

let's depart the mundane 

              to tango or light a fandango 

unleash your imagination,

bare your soul, take the plunge

            dance with me over the edge

     to see the azure moon

       it's crystal clarity filled

            with knowledge of the ages

  take a flight of fancy to a celestial sanctuary

   where pewter wine runs in canals

we'll dip our feet

      and watch the sun rise magenta 

     a purple haze that tickles the senses

wander this world of plenty

    & sense the sea glistening

a majestic tale of lapis lazuli 

     and mystical spells

spill your ingenuity loose on

 Mt Everest's snowcaps

    we'll sweep a path to the south of France 

smother baguettes with real butter

 and drink wisteria wines

       or we could just sit here and pass the time 

drink razzmatazz liqueurs

                made with thunder & lime

then sip each other's sweet nectar

Talk about igniting a wanderlust in me...I had to read this slowly and repeatedly to allow all the stops on this sublime journey to sink in...I can just feel the grains of sand in my feet and see the azure moon against the backdrop of Everest...still trying to taste the liqueurs though, I got distracted by the nectar...really though Frieda, this is epic, I absolutely adore this :)

Hmm nothing really new or exciting except that I'm working on another drawing at the moment which involves a human form and that never works for me o_o There will be a lot on my plate in the coming weeks, and it's comparable to parents trying to force-feed veggies to a stubborn child...I'll keep you posted...hope you're having a good one ;P

Ha....more like light weight. Doesn't take much for me. Of course in the south we cut our teeth on moonshine. ;-). But my first choice in dance partner is Jack...second is Jim and if I'm feeling real dangerous I whirl a little with Jose. Midnight margaritas make think of "Practical Magic"... the movie more then the book.

One of my favorite movies but boy was it different from the book. Might have a little witch in me too...I think all women do. Just ask the men we bewitch....lol!!! And before anyone thinks I'm a complete lush I've only had moonshine a few times. The experience calls to mind the line "Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?". Why yes I have and it burned like nobody's business. Lmao....
