Aura of Energy

Aura of Energy

A Poem by Frieda P

Visions of a woman darkly plague the night
her strength apparent, her stride aligned
make no mistake, she knows where shes bound
deliberate steps she takes towards the eclipse
facing it straight on with forceful intensity
she looks oddly familiar, I know not her name
she has no fear, no hesitation, her stare nostalgic,
i've looked into her eyes to seek recognition
she nodded at me coolly saying 'look to the fated'
she vanished before i could conceive her resolve

I have a man I know quite well (mainly in recall) who turns up now and again to remind me I`m off-track. I even have a conversation with him sometimes, but it`s always, it seems, in passing. He`s walking one way and I`m walking another path. Somehow, there`s never the opportunity to walk side by side to have a longer chat. I`m always distracted, going somewhere else. I love your piece, Frieda. P.

This sounds like a Belvedere dream ;-) Nicely done...very moody and mysterious. (If you must know, I am finally cleaning out my RR cupboard and you are all up in that b***h xD so if it seems like I'm stalking you today...I am) ;-)

Was this a dream or your inner mindful thoughts half way in between state whatever this maybe I was taken there from the start to the end I think we all can see her sometimes or at least some of us. As always Poet Superstar keep writing

The dark shadowed lady shall always try to sway us to do that which we desire not to as she is without fear and folly is her game.......be wary of her as I know you shall be. What part of our consciousness, or subconscious does she plot our demise? She seems to have it all ended before it has begun, and of that I would be most mindful of. Her aura may be too consuming for those around her.
Another thought provoking write my dear friend!!

This feels like an enticing dream, one to wake up from and wish to fall back into. Your use of language appeals to me very strongly, it's strength being from your detailed descriptions! For example, "her stare nostalgic". This rolls off the tongue pleasantly in your endearing portrayal of an eerie, dark though wise figure. Lovely read Frieda

shmooos good morning
A lethal combination of power, intrigue and a glamorous woman prowling in the night. I do like the ending as it made me think about it a bit more and there could be another verse or another follow up poem.

I doubt it, she was prettier than me. ;-)

Thanks Barbara!
Yes, sometimes we want the badass side of us to come to life at anytime, switching our personality and kick some a*s, especially of those who hurt us only to know that it is our own a*s that we really wanna kick all along. Or maybe I'm talking about myself:) This write is somewhat an enlightement.
