Like an infestation of lust

         you integrated your being,

upon my naked heartbeat

your evil contaminated

           more than my breasts

weaseled your way

             into my dark eye

drunkenly aqueous

with flavored enhancers

         left me incoherently paralyzed

     until I was nearly dead

my infertile mind

                a desert wasteland,

      you exhausted no time

                    waging carnage

                 blitzed by havoc's slaughter

my restless soul took refuge

              then surrendered a chalky flag

your strength prompted

           to overtake in battle

   what part of NO did you adulterate

This is so intensely powerful that it made my skin crawl while i was reading it. Your use of words drives home the utter horror that so many women have gone through. The question is when will society and our justice system start holding men accountable for violence against women?

im a huge advocate for abuse , research shows the numbers are staggering and thats just the ones who dont hide it. i encourage you to heal in healthy ways like poetry, it really can help, dont let it eat your soul away

i am someone who managed to get away from some one who tried to rape me, and you are very right this is a HUGE problem in the world... it needs to stop. i have to this day nightmares of what happened. this poem brought back memories. but its about time some one takes a stand against this. this is very good, and am glad that you put this out there! the world needs more people like you.

So sorry to read this Eros, yes has nothing to do with 'sex' and it's all about power and abuse, I found it hard to come back to this thread as someone suggested privately to me, it's due to the way women 'dress' that is the problem...that infuriated me beyond words. That mindset is part of the problem, what does a child do to incite this kind of behavior, nothing at all. Consider this a huge hug from my heart dear friend.
