The poem starts with "I'm in a weekend" giving the sensation of limited time, yet freedom of no other type. then the poem speaks of things that are done in the easy pace, the weekend pace. all slow .
The poem includes numerous sensual situations : "easy pace" reminds heart pace , "like waves..flowing towards nothing" , "easy breezy", " chilled drink " ..
and to top it, you add a partner to the crime "together perhaps" build a castle of sand that reaches the sky . a fun task I may say, one that can burn all the weekend . Leading me to the understanding that weekends are meant to be spend with others while doing fun stuff.
Thank you for sharing such an extraordinary poem.

What a lovely sentiment, thanks so much for your review cafe freddo.
I love the easy feel of this piece...no dark, brooding nostalgia here, just positive, palpable beauty and softness. I wish that I could get myself into a "weekend state of mind" a little more often. Nicely written.
Light airy and lovely are these words. I am instantly there, a drink in my hand, waltzing with a sand crab or two. :)
Thank you for the beautiful vision.
A weekend sublime.
'What I`m reading is a beautiful woman spending her
weekend at the beach, laid back , enjoying the surf and
the occasional surfer that wanders by her cottage.
A cute poem and one that leads one to dream.
Thank You

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
