Boogie Nights

Boogie Nights

A Poem by Frieda P
"

Written with k in mind, would you care to Boogie? ;-)

"
might i dance on your soul
     for just a little while
nothing frantic,
        just a little intermezzo
 till we meet
somewhere in the middle
             of ecstasy and death
such is the honeyed quirks
             of life's dulcet melody
       sweep me off my feet
                to another dimension,
              tango entangle me
                      flip a dizzying spin
                 before you whip us asunder
             melded into oblivion's
              blissful mesh
              dance me
                            till the end of frenzy
if by morning
            we hear the same tune
  leave your boogie shoes
 under the bed
i'll bring you tea
             drenched in elation
if you let me dance
on your soul for a while

I feel like dancing - in the tain,
All I need is a volunteer -
Dancing - what a damn jolly good idea -
It's such a jollification - as a matter of fact, so tres charmant my dear -

I think I was suffering from Saturday Night Fever last night...this was a nice remedy...of course, how can you not feel better when someone writes a poem about you? ;) Glad I was able to conjure up such colourful imagery...tea, tango, entanglement? Yes please...thank you Frieda :)
