Butterfly Angels

Butterfly Angels

A Poem by Frieda P
"

...sending flutterby kisses to my broken angel.

"
   I light a candle
        in your spirit
                      it shines bright
                          such as you illuminated life

             Always a brilliant flutterby
         never to be forgotten
            when my thoughts
          turn teary ink blots blue

I think of the butterfly in you
          flitting above pillowed essentia
                  of dreamful azure clouds
watching over the ones you love

  I want to believe
             with all my heart
that angels  are truly
                butterflies with broken wings
                         fluttering up on high

They come in waves, Oceans foaming, giving life
filling in the gaps of grief
putty on the holes of indifference
the world disperses so freely (no equity but all can share)
and the warm air holds the tear in place
soft in place ,defying gravity, a angel, a word of thanks,
to mother ,to Mary, to Frieda
and I am not talking Kahlo
she is a butterfly too

Now you are making me tear up, Woman!...this reminds me of my butterfly, my grandmother, whom I lost years ago...she will be forever fluttering in my heart....
