The problem with writing a lot as I well know, is your get the high of creativity without the actual quality of the poem, but I guess in the end it's a trade off of joy vs. what, the ideal poem? Which doesn't exist, so might as well wing it.
The fee of poetry I think is existential weariness. Unless you write for beauty alone, which would be quite dull.

Following rules defeats the purpose of an emotional write. It makes a writer too objective to recognize emotion. I didn't wanna do that. This poem is to the point. Hits close to home:)
Now that you mention it, there really should be a "behind the pen" test before they give those licenses out. Instead of testing for parallel parking, the instructors can check if the poet knows that substituting "ur" for "your" is going to cause a fatal collision. They hand those dang licenses out so recklessly. You don't even need to know how to read or write proper english anymore!
Honestly, just like a drivers license, a poetic license should be something you have to earn. I don't think it matters what a poet wants to write about or how they choose to write about it. But bad grammer just bad grammer.
Love the concept here, Frieda. Nice work.
