Kaleidoscope Hues

Kaleidoscope Hues

A Poem by Frieda P

What color is your poetry
does it start out perky pink,
             then turn murky blue
do you tap out the hue by hand
sing song a rhyme
are you coloring in the lines
         thinking outside the box
  the spectrum is so intense
       scribbles in pen,
  babbling in watercolors
strokes of genius
 in oils finest
each one a special
          tinted sneak peek
all the worlds a canvas
           for our point of view

Love this - reminds me of my poem Inking Art. Writing allows us to express every aspect of ourselves - the personal, philosophical, bizarre, the what ifs, the what haves, the future, fantasy and every other possible topic. You posed the question - each of us answers it slightly differently - in our own voice and hue. Nice penning there, girl!

In art the freer your mind the better your work will be. Even the sky should not be the limit in creating cause there is plenty of space beyond this planet.

Me too...I find it interesting that red denotes 'rage' as well as 'love', thanks for your visit.
Very nice and colorful Frieda. It does seem that we write in colors most of the time, and fortunately, most of us are not color blind.

Good one.

I see light bulb moments already...
Every poem had a different color. I write on all four corners of emotion. I believe the writer decide what color is needed. A very interesting poem. I like poetry with questions and thoughts to ponder. You did. Thank you for the excellent poem.

I love the feeling of this, like a work of art you speak in colours, painting a picture in the reader's mind.
