Feast On

Feast On

A Poem by Frieda P

You want to feast of me,

rip my flesh from the bone

overflow my cup with

                 crimson wine and plumage

Submerge into my engorgement

       of swollen flood banks,

plethora of salty seas

 scalding my burning release

Lay me down,

  I will deluge your appetite,

drown in the salaciousness

 of ravenous Eros

your devotion to  gluttony

is my hunger replete

Is it weird that I do this sort of affectation of my inner voice when I read pieces like this from you that sounds rather much like a lustful Victorian heaving bosom and breathless shouting woman on the verge of multiple O? Yeah, I didn't think so, either ;-)

Quick note...maybe "of" wants to be "on" in the first line? Or perhaps throw a "make" in there?

Breathlessly heaving my bosom here...just saying ;-)

I agree with Baby. The poem is full of rivetting ravishing passion. The phrase "eating alive" comes out in all its colors. Thanks for writing and sharing this Frieda. Sexy to the core!

It's years of trial and error. Thanks for being such a good teacher! ;)
I just ate lunch and now I am hungry again, in fact, I'm starving. I'd like an order of Ravenous Eros to go please.

Frieda, your poetry makes my eyes yearn and my heart plead, I find myself clawing at the screen when I read. Very delicious.
