Sea of Love

Sea of Love

A Poem by Frieda P

Could I drown in your essence
would you throw me overboard
should you let the waves take me
will you overflow my vessel
let me coast upon your fiery seas
ebb me from the shores of erosion
engulf me with impetuous high tides
emerge my senses in salty euphonic tides
undertows will not break my lifeline
rip currents fetch my spilling breakers
uprush like a hurricane upon a jetty
crest your summit into the depths
volcanic hotspot of seamount eruptions
crash me to your shores of surging breakers
fully submerged in your tidal wave
calm winds buoy me to shore

Wow! The salt water is certainly calling my name if I get to get lost in it like this!
The waters of seduction in this sea are rolling at a tsunami pace!!

Yes, volcanic hotspot of seamount eruptions, come and crash me to those breakers!!
Steamy mist is rising!!!

This is a beautiful flowing write, makes me think about making love on the beach with the sound of the waves crashing in time with the ebbing flow of passion. Beautiful Frieda.

I'll have to check it out, thanks.
What a beautiful write, I am so glad with this... the love you speak here for our sea, and be one with it, touches me...

"ebb me from the shores of erosion
engulf me with impetuous high tides"

Wonderful wording...
I liked the old feel of this write,
It was like a Siren dream...

it is my pleaure
waves got your brain? this is so new wave...not really just waving at you from across the sea of waves. okay, i'm done.....the undercurrents and the pull of these strong feelings are so prevalent in this torrid and restless piece. and, yes, i DO love the constant wave metaphors throughout this, they give this a life and motion of its own. your imagery herein is stunning and this is SO hot! but....i ain't lyin' on no cold, hard rock....wonderful write, Frieda

OK corma but nice enough. Did you ever watch Sea of Love staring Al Pacino and Ellen Birken the scene where they have sex is the best ever!

Drowning has never sounded this fun...I absolutely love water imagery, yet still I find myself craving a floatation device here ;P

Amazing photo and poetry. Good to free and without control of emotion. I like the complete poem. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.
