For Lee, there's a big void that can never be filled in your absence, you took a part of my heart with you when you took flight. You called me 'big sis' and I miss hearing that with every fiber of my being, you were, and will always be my 'baby sis'.

I love the poetry you write in memory of your sister. I do not feel this type of emotional bond in my family and I find it wonderful htat even in tragic loss such beauty is found in a legacy of love.
A lovely poem indeed dear Frieda.

Much appreciate your lovely response David, thanks so much.
Thank you for sharing this, for your courage...your words speak volumes of who she was and how she touched the lives of everyone who knew her...through your words of love, we, who have not had the pleasure of knowing her can "see" her for the beautiful soul that she was and how very much she was loved...and through these words of love, we can see the beautiful soul that lives in you....thank you Frieda, this touched my heart.......=)

As you've touched mine right now, and always with your kindness of heart dear David.
This is so sad...I can't fathom the pain of losing someone so close...oh sweetie..I'm so sorry. Your words are majestic, but every word..it stings with a sweet bitterness.

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
