Children should come fully equipped for parental totalitarianism. On "Star Trek: Next Generation", Data, a droid, has an on/off switch. A handy parenting tool. Evolution typically shows no sensitivity to a simple mutation, morphing fast enough to be of use by us. In my house, if the kids earn compliments, that is because they are good kids. If they fall under the anvil of the principle for flagrant disobedience of Serious Rules, then that is my fault. A bitter pill indeed. Cleverly noted thought provoking piece.

for a mother children are the most wonderful gift of god even if they are misfortunate. Men say what lies in to hurt them but only a mother knows what. Its true kids make and break your life. They can give you a life wonderful than heaven or a life worse than hell. People say having children is fortune but i say having good children is fortune.
I think sometimes the problem lies in bad parenting, not bad kids....kids will be kids.

I'm not saying everyone of course, but that seems to be the current trend....it' different when they get older than you can have a satisfactory 'friend' relationship, but they're still always your kids.
Agree! You are spot on here Frieda. They can take you to Heaven or Hell! We die many times before we really die. A senryu full of wisdom.

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
