so the crazies won't visit

and stay for tea

If we can't laugh at ourselves

someone else will beat us to it

Sad poetry to lay our heads

cry on the words

bite your lips poppy red

share your woes, wipe your tears 

with cathartic hankies

Sensual poetry to entice

quench the thirst

whet the fancy's appetite

sweet erotica to lay the bed

 pomp and tickle feathers thrall

Sweetness of

                silk thread poetry

                turns the head 

            dreaming

                     to soothe

                   the soul

                                   slide down

                                     the scope

                                                  of inspiration's

                                           brilliance

                                                 come out 

                                                            the other side

                                                               heart and soul

                                                          cleansed

                                                                 blown away

sometimes, our beloved frieda is the court jester, sometimes the incurable romantic, other times, the brazen cynic and still other times a harbinger of pure sensuality and ....even...bawdy verse. you have raised so many emotions in this writer that i am loathe to try to put into words at times. however, you are consistently awesome!

I have seen every example of the types of poetry to which you refer come from your pen, and I have laughed and cried and rejoiced and held your hand and danced and sang with you every step of the way, and there is not one thing I can think of that I would have rather done, and I will continue to do so because you, my dear friend, are pure gold.

This is really brilliant! I can feel the fresh dedication to poetry as if homologous to life itself. But really, we cannot live without poems and literature to aid us in creativity and originality.
