Rouge Burnished Soul

         Rouge burnished, ardent soul,

                   butterflies inflate the heart

    billow above the furor 

 and disquietude

close your eyes

         in wakeful slumber

      glean a thousand kisses

                        & marshmallow doves

masterpiece

         within soul's empty vessel

portal of delirium

                 and fine red wine

images

                         of crystalline apertures 

                        to Arcadia

whirling

                          on a frenzied bed

                                     of plumose embraces

promises

                  of purple cloud nine abodes

abandon

                  the rootlessness of veracity

~floating~

                             on the breast 

                           of an angel's arousal
