I read this as a lament on the splintering ability of human beings to communicate with each other, everything is virtual now...the heatless warmth was the driving image here for me...the cold feels more real, and more indicative of human nature...the extension of warmth has become a hollow gesture in so many ways...wonderful writing Frieda :)

Well if my review is that good, it's only cuz I was inspired so much by the poem ;)
quite profound I thought, so well written,
an unrequainted or an ailing love life with ample sophistication
and an ambiguity at the enticingly skilled I think......
you are terribly clever dear Freida!
this explains and plaintly how life is.. how much of a journey it is..
there comes a time when it needs to go separate ways but when your body wont give in.. if you know what i mean??
reall good write my friend go on..
i will read!!
"I look for you in every smile, in every embrace' Endlessly looking for that love that was lost and might never be found again. Another beautiful poem Frieda

If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
