Poetic Insanity

Poetic Insanity

A Poem by Frieda P

I'm dizzy with insanity
      clouds of butterflies
like swarms of locus
      airy like cloud 9 candy
feeling light and sinful
    invade my consciousness
i am heady, lost the plot, but don't stop
     i go insane every time
you speak a poem or touch my name
i twirl around in the spin of your tale
the elixir of another's essence
     throw down the gauntlet
release the kraken
dig in, fill me, drain me, devour me
no restraints nor empty spaces remain
keep me wakeful with your endlessness
i surrender my loins to this moment
lie next to me in the grassy soul of poetry

release the kraken !!!!!
:D wow such a provocative, creative and intelligent write :P "bites lower lip"
May you never mow that poetic lawn for it springs out flowers of words from far beyond any normal imagination, your creation gives life to my eyes and lifts me up to clearer skies where I can dream upon your clouds and express my feelings, shout them out loud. Frieda P, oh how you inspire me :)
I'm kinda turned on, just saying. LOL

Thanks Ahmad.
damn you make poetry sexy...the muse and you lying in the grass...surrendering the loins to the words...intercourse with the pen.. lovemaking with a soul...a deep soul.
"every time you speak a poem or touch my name"

that is a wonderful line.
