lol its tragic that people will cheapen their life in a way like that to get attention need a girl then living is the way to do that dying is just stupid for that reason however I won''t dismiss all suicidal tendencies as a pick up scheme some of us really hurt and should not be alone

I'm against suicide in all way possible , i believe suicide is for weak people who take a shortcut to release their worries instead of facing them !

I respectfully disagree, people that commit suicide are beyond despair, broken, depressed to the nth degree and not thinking logically. My sister was not a weak person, just desperate and in the chasm of hell's grip. It must take some kind of courage to actually 'pull that trigger' so to speak. Obviously I don't agree with it, but I do understand it to a degree. Thanks.

Girls swoon at a guy who talks of suicide, really? Why? Sounds like a combination of manipulation and girls that want to be needed or have a "save him" complex. I don't care for the depressing writings. I'm sure I've written one or two "low point" poems, but even in what i consider my darkest hour it's never that dark. Everyone needs a time to mourn or allow themselves to feel the devastation, but after a time my advice is to suck it up and get over it. Each person chooses their happiness.

I have to admit this poem brought a smile to my face because we were having the same exact conversation about this last night. I.know exactly what you mean and who you are referring to but it seems like its been a general trend these days and as a fairy and an optimist all of this deppressing stuff to get attention doesn't sit right with me

It's been stewing, but last night inspired it, yes. You know I don't take suicide lightly, and when people throw it around like it's a subject for fodder that pains my soul. Young people don't see the real tragedy in it, once you've lost someone in this way, it's a difficult pill to swallow.

It really is because I have lost friends to suicide as well and its always the people left behind to live that suffer the most and I don't think a lot of people seriously think about the seriousness of the subject and of suicide in general. It never only affects the person who committed it. It can cause grief and pain and even divisions among the people they are left to pick up the pieces

I think when you're that young you romanticize everything, hopefully no one flings themselves seriously into anything so tragic, it's a wake up call.
