take a chill pill so you won't cry

take the 'i don't give a s**t' pill

swallow the pill that makes you blind

is there a pill to cure 

cause I'm not finding it in my grey goose

there are many things you may find in a bottle of grey goose, but...love and painkillers aren't one of them. you can find weepy friends and kinky sex, but no painkillers. you can find impounded cars and bail bondsmen, but no painkillers. have i made my point yet, or shall i carry on?

Sometimes the funniest/most tongue in cheek things are rooted in facts of life that are pretty scary. Even though this poem is a bit lighter and has a funny twist with the Grey Goose, I think this poem has similar roots. Oh pills and the many uses they have now.

Oh boy, does this one ever hit home...I won't even say how many, but I take a lot of pills in a day, to cover essentially every criterion you've outlined here...my stomach probably resembles a slab of Drywall at this point...

ugh, not good k...i had a serious addiction to prescription pills after a back surgery, it truly sucks kicking those little b******s.

No, it isn't, and I definitely know how you felt, but I'd be a ticking time bomb otherwise, and would probably never sleep...most people I'm close to on here are aware of my mental skeletons but for whatever reason, I don't think the subject has surfaced too often with you...oh well, one-day-at-a-time is what my therapist tells me, and today's been okay :)

Oh it's still very much an option haha A good bit of my poetic ideas come to me when I'm at least half-asleep, then I'm wide-awake and zombified for the day by the time they get written down...but I guess I'll be alright as you say, and you'll be alright as well :)
