Leap for the Stars

Leap for the Stars

A Poem by Frieda P
"

Make a wish upon a star!

"
Skipping on clouds,
reaching for the stars
hop over the moon
 to see where you are

Love awaits somewhere
 beyond the rainbow
each step must be
 deliberate and slow

Don't take love
 or starry nights for granted
never give up hope
for your life's enchanted

Angels live as
 heavenly celestial beings
the stars their mystical
 ambrosial blessings

Dream on a
full blue moon high in the sky
of cotton candy kisses
 and warm apple pie

Take that great leap of faith
 over the galaxy
there's stardust
 waiting for you and me

Another beautiful painting by my dear friend battling for her life after a bone marrow transplant. This one is for Star!

Dream on a full blue moon high in the sky
of cotton candy kisses and warm apple pie...........oh yes!! May we all be able to experience the joy of such dreams!

Your tribute to your dear friend through this poem is so very touching and warms my heart! May total healing come to Star by the energy of a million twinkles!!!

p.s. I don't see her painting in the avatar. It just appears black. It is such a beautiful painting. I hope you can add it to your poem for her!!

Sweet doc! Thanks so much.
"collateral healing" is not the avoidance of death but the healing of the soul. I will continue to "light a candle" for Star, as you have done here. I pray for her healing and for her life.
She has a great friend in you.

Good work here. I'm mustering all of the positive energy I can and sending it your way (you can pass it on to Star; I don't know her spiritual address) ;-)
