I disagree with you my friend!! When one takes time to look "inside" and "past" the outer facade the view settles on a very loving and charming one who has had more than enough of the unpleasant and unbearable side of life. It is said the diamond shines brighter when it is subjected to more cutting and polishing. Why some diamonds have to be put back into the tumbler again and again seems to be unfair, and at times it is just that....so dang unfair, but it is what we call "Life" in all its ugliness with the beauty. So guess what???? I am betting on you!!!! In my book.......You sparkle!!!

Definitely the poem. This sort of warning comes from truthful introspection, which I admire above all else. To know oneself and to be brutally honest in spreading that knowledge is the most difficult thing a person can do...but it is also the bravest. Well done, this.

Don't be deceived by an innocent face... you never know what lurks beneath the sweetness of the smile. That's how I understand the poem... it implies someone who is truly different from what everybody perceives... the risk for all the expectations to fall asunder and see a totally different person.
