Last Word

Last Word

A Poem by Frieda P

Hanging by the noose
cryptic farewells penned
that last breath of words

never wraps up loose ends

Very powerful, I liked how much emotion was contained within such brevity. Must be the pain inside someone committing suicide is so great that they feel rushed to the act, and such complex emotions would probably be very hard for them to pen in many cases....but for sure, a note left behind is never an equation to describe the properties of the soul (i mean soul in the secular sense)

It's pure hell, how unjust this world really is. Life's never fair . . . just a lot fairer than the alternative

a strong piece of writing. Do all words lead to loose ends...? Each word open new roads, rarely dead ends... thanks for sharing !

Impactful and saddening; having found the farewell letter and feeling as empty as you would if farewells had been said face to face. Well done.
