Tabasco Sauce of Life

Tabasco Sauce of Life

A Poem by Frieda P

The Tabasco sauce of life is the best spice

all jacked up on hot and heavy, spicy flavor

life's longing for the temptress of thrill

passionate lovemaking, plunging into the deep

first time glow that makes the heart flutter

taking that leap of faith off mount ecstasy

leaves those burning sensations to tickle

lingering after the fluster of prime impact fades

holiday, lovers, love, valentines, sweet, honey, abstract, heart, february, darling, wallpaper, wallpapers

When a woman compares her emotional dimensions to Tabasco sauce, something's definitely amiss. My emotions range more into the tartar sauce range and sometimes accelerating to apple sauce. But it was fun reading even though I am far too innocent to understand it all.

Hi Frieda, a saucy hot little number lol. Well written as always. How many poems do you write a week? Some of us mere mortals have to work! You are prolific.

I like Tabasco on my popcorn...but clearly this is not a piece about hot sauce ;-) Thanks so much for giving us some spice.

Sounds yummy... At a certain age you have to be careful of ulcers though...
A well done free flowing and image filled poem.
I enjoyed the read.

There is nothing like that initial flame of love when it sets your heart of fire... I love the fun metaphoric references.

yes life's ups and downs, happiness and sorrow, enjoyment and depression..we all face that. life is hard but we still love it with all its difficulties and whatever it does to us. it is the same like spicy food, it causes pain during eating it and even after eating but still we like it..
i love the similarity you made here between them..
excellent poem
