When a woman compares her emotional dimensions to Tabasco sauce, something's definitely amiss. My emotions range more into the tartar sauce range and sometimes accelerating to apple sauce. But it was fun reading even though I am far too innocent to understand it all.

OMG I just threw up in my mouth, my mother used to listen to Sex Bomb....and he'd gyrate his hips and she acted daft, I wanted to run into heavy traffic lol

Be my guest, with that comes daunting responsibiltiy, outrageous insurance costs, dealing with over 100 parents that think their child is the most gifted and the sun only shines in their direction and should be treated accordingly, not to mention state regulations and inspections, blahblahblah....need I say more? ;-)

everyone has always told me that I should be a teacher - you just listed all the reasons why I chose not to. I think you need and deserve your writing time. I have made great efforts to see my daughter for what she is including the more trying parts - and yes there are a few... you're very brave to take o0n child care as a business and never mind the kids - I cannot deal with unrealistic parents. A special breed indeed.. x

You'll be glad to know that my daughter is no genius, messy as hell, endearing, hilariously funny and many other things across the whole spectrum of what 11 year old can be and I love her what ever she comes up with. that other adults probably think she is not a amazing as I think she is...that is a given :-)

I so agree, and everyone of them is special in their own right, but not to be held above everyone else's child, that's a real pet peeve of me, sorry....They don't pay me enough!

Off course not - in fact you are paid to see to their immediate needs whilst the parents are absent - not BE a parent. I told the headmaster of my daughters school that I was the one educating her for life - he and his school are only there to teach her the national curriculum. They are one of many institutions and people I employ to help me educate her. That's all - in your case it should be the same. You're there to keep them safe and occupied. You are not the nurturer and main educater., That is the parent's job.

Wow, I have no parents with that kind of common sense, I called one parent when her 4 mo. old had 104.3 temp, she said and I quote, 'I'm in a meeting, this is not convenient time for me" WTF? I lost it, I'm usually pretty cool headed, but to a point, I had to drive in the ambulance with Andrew, he was grey at this point, she finally met us at the hospital....true story.

Spicy. Not a fan of spicy foods but I'd like to have a taste of this one... though that may not be that soon to happen... but still this poem described passion pretty nicely and it had that playfulness going on.
