Absurd

I overheard someone say 'death is for dead people'

that might be profound if it were not so absurd

death lives amongst the living regularly

loss, betrayal, obsessions, recessions, addictions

madness perpetuating the death prattle

people breathing in a stillness with no life

madness choking the life out of survival

people, places racing towards a grand finale

dipping one foot in the pearly skies, keep it real

death is popular when there are no tomorrows

there's dead and then there's quasi -- dead

some people are just lucky, listen to the music

wake up and smell the coffee

no one gets out alive anyway

Wow, I just got finished adding Author's notes to a poem I did some time back,

Not much to say here really... you hit it. Spot on, Frieda. Let's face it, the dead are the ones NOT affected by death lol... they're dead after all. ;) But then there are other forms of death where everyone suffers... hmmm.... me like!

Totally agree . . . . confused about "wake up and the and listen . . . ."
There's lots of ways to die. I have had a million expeiences and now I live among people who have had one experience a million times. Death comes in its many forms and you captured that quite well.
