Wow, I just got finished adding Author's notes to a poem I did some time back,
A Moment of Contemplation, then this was the first write I read after that. To say I understand what your saying would be a huge understatement. Thank you for sharing, this write spoke to me in deep places.

Sometimes a rant is just a rant, and sometimes it means so much more...
I love that! - and hate how you feel. You definetly need a couple of weeks at my house with lots of English Tea, sympathy and Yiddishe chicken soup. This kind of dystopian thinking does not make for happiness. Mood ambulance on it's way xxx
The thing is the quasi-dead are like zombies, they don'T really ever die. What I mean is, as long as there is breath, there is an opportunity for truly living--"viva"living....it has to do with perspective. If betrayals and disappointments with life make you bitter and jaded, yes-one might be half-dead while living, but if it makes you appreciate loyalty and warm memories of better times-it could fuel you to make changes that are life-changing.Yes, no one gets out alive -that is the impetus to live this one go-around as well as you know how to....we all will have plenty of time to get the dead thing down, just not while there is breath in our lungs. what a waste of precious time....a very thoughful write....to live life to the fullest while we can.

Thank you my friend, I thought you could personally relate to this one....
If you want to know me, read my poetry, it's all in there. I am a mother of three sons (my finest moments) a sister, a survivor and a little bit crazy. I lost my beloved sister to suicide, so you'll.. more..
